How we met

We have been together longer than we’ve been apart in our lives. We met and started dating in high school, 24 years ago, and have been married for the last 16 years. We know well each other’s strengths and weaknesses and we think that helps make us good parents.
We make our home in Los Angeles where we’re close to parks, libraries, great schools, and the beach.
Meet Lindsay
One of my favorite things to do is make feasts for the people I love. (I make a pretty killer mac and cheese.) For me, feeding my friends and family is a very tangible way of loving and caring for them. I also give great hugs!
I like to explore L.A.’s hiking trails, beaches, and restaurants with Jason and Sebastian.
I’m a curious person and a good question-asker, which is why I enjoy being a journalist so much. I also speak Spanish fluently.
In all things, I try to follow my Catholic faith.
Meet Jason
I grew up as the son of an American father and Colombian mother, so I’ve been speaking Spanish and English since childhood. I have an older brother and a twin sister. I grew up hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountains and playing a lot of soccer.
I have a passion for learning, which is why I decided to become a college professor.
I love Mexican food, movies, drawing with my son, and singing music with my friends and family. The most important thing in my life is my faith.
Meet Sebastian
I’m five years old. My parents would say that I’m curious, creative, a great helper, and I have a very kind heard. I speak English and Spanish fluently, and I can do great impressions of other people. Some of my favorite things are cars and trucks, hamburgers and fries, and riding my bike.
